EEC IN ACTION (EIA) XXIII 2024
 

1. What will be the themes for every round?
The storytelling theme for Preliminary Round is "The Thrill of Wonder : Tales of Youthful Curiosity" which will be held from September 18th – September 22nd, 2024 for the preliminary round.  The final round will be held on September 28th, 2024.

2. How long is the performance duration for every round?
The duration of the Preliminary Round is 6-8 minutes to end the Storytelling. The duration of the Final Round is 5-7 minutes to end the Storytelling.

3. Can I bring notes while delivering my Storytelling?
Both on Preliminary Round and Final Round, no notes are allowed to bring while performing.

4. For some reasons, I can’t join the competition, but I had paid registration payment fully. Can I do refund?
a) The committee of  EIA XXIII (2024) will not provide any refund for those who are quitting the competition or disqualified for any reason. Participants may do replacement along with these problems.
b) Participant who have been registered online can be replaced with a new participant, but it can be allowed ONLY in the same branch competition, at the latest on Tuesday, September 17th, 2024, by sending the request of replacement to EIA XXIII (2024) Storytelling Competition’s e-mail address : storytelling.eia@gmail.com, with the following subject : Replacement_(Storytelling Competition) and the following format body mail :

c) Any related document supporting the participant's reason must be attached to the e-mail (e.g., a signed medical permit from the hospital, participant can send the document in an image form/PDF form). If the committee finds the reason acceptable, the committee will send the approval of the replacement request to the participant's e-mail address.

5. When should I submit my Storytelling text and Video?
For the Preliminary Round, softcopy text of the story and video should be submitted from September 18th - September 22nd, 2024. In the Final Round, participants have to submit only softcopy text of their story and perform live at Zoom Meeting with the story that they will make out of three words. Participants will be given 3 (three) lotteries, which consist of words the committee has prepared and participants will draw the lotteries on the same day as the finalist announcement day. Participants should make a story from these three points in one day of preparation.

6. Is there any rules for the video?
The video SHOULD NOT be edited, the video resolution should be a minimum of 720 pixels, and the video ratio must be 16:9. The video must be taken landscape.
