1. What will be the themes for Paper Presentation?

    The theme for all rounds of the competition is:  
    “Strategies and Implementation of the Green Economy to Support the Achievement of        the SDGs in 2045”.

    The sub-themes are:  
    a. Social Justice and Equality  
    b. Environmental Sustainability  
    c. Sustainable Tourism System  
    d. Technology  
    e. Economics

2. When the important dates for Paper Presentation?

     1. Early Bird Registration : August 16th – August 31st, 2024
     2. Regular Registration : September 1st – September 14th, 2024
     3. Announcement of Theme Paper by committee : Friday, August 23rd 2024
     4. Technical Meeting (Final Round) : Thursday, September 26th 2024
     5. Preliminary Round (Online Selection)
          a. Collection of Soft File Paper Presentation : September 9th – 16th, 2024
          b. Top 10 Finalist Announcement : Tuesday, September 24th 2024
     6. Final Round (Top 10)
          a. Collection of Soft File PPT : Thursday, September 26th 2024
          b. Final Round : Saturday, September 28th 2024
      7. Winner Announcement (1st, 2nd, 3rd) : Sunday, September 29th 2024

3. Can I submit a paper for more than one subject?
No, we only have capacity to accept one entry per person. Each entrant may only submit 1 (one) paper for one subject. We encourage you to choose the subject that best aligns with your research or interests. This rule ensures fair competition and allows us to maintain the quality of submissions. We look forward to your participation!

4. What is the maximum word count?

Total words from all pages are within the range of 3000 (three thousand) to 3500 (three thousand and five hundred) words (excluding footnote and references), meaning:
a. The paper needs to be no longer than 3500 words (maximum word limit); and
b. The paper needs to be no shorter than 3000 (three thousand) words (minimum word limit); and
c. Failure to meet the minimum word limit or exceeding the word limit will be given penalties of score reduction. The score will be reduced by 5 five) marks for every 50 (fifty) words. The reduction will start with the total words: 2999 (two thousand nine hundred and ninety-nine) words and less, or 3501 (three thousand five hundred and one) words and more.

5. I have submitted my Paper but noticed a mistake - what can I do?

All submissions are final. Once paper are in our system we cannot overwrite them. All participants should check the spelling of their name, whether it is correct or not. After Tuesday, September 17th 2024, the committees are not responsible for any mistakes and misspellings.

6. For some reasons, I can’t join the competition, but i had paid registration payment fully. Can I do refund?​
a) The committee of EIA XXII (2024) will not provide any refund for those who are quitting the competition or disqualified for any reason. Except the competition is cancelled due to the lack of minimum participants, then the registration fee will be refunded.
b) The participants who have been registered online can be replaced with a new participant, but it can be allowed ONLY in the same branch competition, at the latest Saturday, September 14th 2024, by sending the request of replacement to EIA XXIII (2024) Papper Presentation email address: paper.eecinaction@gmail.com with the following subject: Replacement_(Paper Presentation) and the following format body mail :

7. When will participants be included in the group?

​The participants will be invited to the WhatsApp group after confirming registration for further coordination.

8. Is there a specific type of paper that we need to make? Is it more like an essay or a research paper, or something else?

For this competition, you should submit a paper in the form of an essay. We are looking for well-structured arguments and in-depth analysis related to the given theme. Your essay should focus on presenting and discussing your ideas and arguments clearly and in an organized manner. Feel free to include relevant examples or evidence to support your points.
